life in lock down

ever since the 3rd day of lockdown, I have felt bored the only thing that has cheered me up is riding my motorbike playing bullrush or playing cricket with dad and Liam. it has sucked not being able to ride with friends or go over to friends or go mountain biking with them. I have also liked being on the farm with dad or fixing our garden up. Learning at home is harder than working at school because the teachers tell us when it is time to go and listen to instructions but when you are learning at home you look at the time every now and again so you don't miss a chat. when the lockdown first came out and we got told that we had to stay at home for 4 weeks I was like I can be out on the farm or be on my motorbike a bit more. we had a holiday till the 15th of April. hopefully, this lockdown is done soon so I can go and ride with my friends.

trermendous writing

                      Treemendous
I think Kokatahi - Kowihitirangi School should get the ten thousand dollars so we can add on to our awesome garden and make it even better. We can learn more about the environment as well.

For my idea, I think we should have a walkway with some big trees you can climb and a bike track that has a jumping section with jumps and another way that you can curve around the trees. Also for one of my other ideas, I think we need to improve our school's gardens and our greenhouse.

Kokatahi - Kowhitirangi School would like the 10,000 dollars so can build a much bigger garden so we can grow our own vegetables and fruit so everyone can learn to plant vegetables fruit and coco beans. Maybe people can also from the skills they can learn they might be able to buy plants and plant them in their gardens at home.

Kokatahi - Kowhitirangi School has some really really awesome ideas that we would spend the money on improving our amazing gardens and learning a lot more about the environment. Our school would love to win that 10,000 dollars so we can improve on our environment. We would also like to have a tree house and the tree. We want to have two three or four tree houses with walkways going above the ground and it would be  .

This is why I think Kokatahi - Kowhitirangi School should get the 10,000 dollars and spend it all on our amazing garden and improving our environment to make it look amazing.  We will keep it well maintained and use it as an outdoor learning area. It would mean so much to Kokatahi Kowihitirangi to get that 10,000 dollars to improve on our gardens because we are a small school with limited resources. Thank you for your time.

My summer learning journey for 2018

my three favourite facts about new Zealand are

1. The most popular films in the country include ‘Once were Warriors’, ‘The Whale Rider’, ‘The Piano’ and the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy.

2. Gisborne is the first city in the world to see the sunrise because it is 496.3 kilometers away from the International Date Line.

3. Dairy farmers produce a whopping 100 kg of butter and 65kg of cheese each year for each person living in New Zealand.
